Applications have now closed for Guardians Volume 1 and we’re proud to announce our initial Safe Guardians!

What are Safe Guardians?
Safe Guardians are active members of the Safe community, who have verifiably proven their commitment to this vision. Guardians steward the SAFE ecosystem and protocol, and align with our vision to drive the adoption of smart contract accounts.

Volume 1 Guardians will be retroactively distributed 25,000,000 SAFE tokens for their contributions. 50% of the tokens will be available immediately, while the other 50% will be vested linearly for four years. Note that there will be differences in the amounts each Guardian receives, as allocations are based on an applicant’s previous contribution to the overall success of the SAFE project. There are still 25,000,000 SAFE tokens set aside for future volumes of the Guardians program, so stay tuned!

To all Guardians, current and future, let’s unlock the future of ownership together! We trust that you take on the responsibility of stewarding the decentralized development of SAFE, and supporting its growing ecosystem.
