The implementation of the proposed ‘Councils and Committees’ structure for Safe DAO remains in progress, following feedback from the community to proceed slower and iteratively.
No new initiatives were onboarded during this reporting period, however, several new OBRA proposals were received and are up for discussion on the forum. One of these includes a proposal for the extension of the Contribution Efficiency System (CES) to continue supporting OBRA operations until there is greater clarity regarding the implementation of the proposed council structures. Below, you can access the new OBRA initiative proposals on the forum, as we approach the next voting period:
- [Draft] [OBRA] SafeGov: Transparent and Modular Treasury Management for DAOs - [IOPLUS]
- [DRAFT] [OBRA] Create & Manage a Digital Org using a Safe - Espla
- [Draft] [OBRA] Develop and Integrate Ecosystem Vaults
- [Draft] [OBRA] Contribution Efficiency System (CES) Bridge Extension - Areta
- [Discussion][OBRA] Safing intelligently - Build Credio Module to extend Safe’s automated decision making with AI
Each of these prospective initiatives shared a run through of their proposal on last week’s community call. You can find the details and a recording of that call here.
Applications
To date, OBRA has received a total of 41 applications, with 21 of them being accepted and ratified through voting on Snapshot. The majority of OBRA applications have been skewed towards increasing governance participation and awareness of the Safe ecosystem (i.e., strategies 5 and 3 respectively).
There are currently no applications being voted on in Snapshot, but we expect the aforementioned proposals to be uploaded in the early part of this week. As always to find the updated list of OBRA proposals and their details, see our Notion Hub here.
