GM everyone! We’ve reached the end of another reporting period for OBRA initiatives, and one of the final periods before Safe ushers in OBRA 2.0.
We were pleased to see several initiatives complete all their milestones and conclude their OBRA grant responsibilities during the last reporting period, including ZK Email (SEP 43), Lighthouse (SEP 35) and Kolektivo & Hopper (SEP 42). As many initiatives approach their final milestones, we look forward to more of the same in the coming months.
Currently, there are seven (7) active OBRA initiatives for which the Contribution Efficiency System (CES) team is continuing to manage onboarding, milestone-setting, tracking and reporting outcomes for SafeDAO. This is to ensure much-needed operational management and continuity as we transition to a new OBRA structure.
During this reporting period, we received no new OBRA applications. However, the following approved initiative was onboarded and included in this month’s reporting:
Applications
To date, OBRA has maintained a total of 41 applications, of which 23 have been accepted by SafeDAO via governance. Increasing governance participation remains the strategy with the lion-share of OBRA applications.
Currently, there are no applications being voted on in snapshot. As always, to find the updated list of OBRA proposals and their details, see our Notion Hub here.

Initiative Outcomes
February saw 2 initiatives complete milestones for a total of 4 achieved milestones.
Initiative | Milestone Completed |
---|---|
Cometh / Gnosis Guild / Onebalance (SEP 34) | Milestone I: Design, Documentation & Development |
Milestone II: Auditing the Module | |
Gnosis Guild (SEP 48) | Milestone I: Research & Design |
Milestone II: Development I |
Back in September, we reported developments affecting two initiatives that might require rescoping of their milestones. One of the initiatives, Zenguard, has since completed its milestones and closed out. However, the initiative involving Cometh, Gnosis Guild & OneBalance (i.e., SEP 34) underwent rescoping. This involved adjusting their deliverables and reducing their grant amount from $70k to $37k. Full technical details of the rescoping can be found in this Scope Document. SEP 34’s rescoping was finalized in early January and the initiative has been included in this month’s reporting. You can access their report here.
Additionally, Gnosis Guild (SEP 48), has shipped a new Pilot execution router, Zodiac Pilot which is available as a chrome web extension or can be accessed via github. H/T to @espina and the rest of the Gnosis Guild team!
These updates, along with more details on the progress of OBRA initiatives for the past reporting period, will be reflected on our CES Reporting Summary page here.
