We conducted a three-day workshop aimed at determining whether users found learning through Tidbits Hub engaging and efficient. Three participants took part in this activity, which was structured into three steps across three days. Each day was designed to assess specific aspects of the learning experience and compare the effectiveness of different resources.
Participants were instructed to learn about Safe Global and its features using authentic online resources, including the official website, trusted blogs, and reputable educational platforms. They spent 6–7 hours exploring these sources. At the end of the day, their knowledge and effort were assessed through an interview to establish a baseline for their familiarity with Safe Global and to evaluate the effectiveness of these external resources.
Day 2 (Step 2): Exploring Tidbits Hub
Participants used Safe Global’s Tidbits Hub to explore its content comprehensively, dedicating another 6–7 hours to this task. This step aimed to assess the usability, engagement, and learning outcomes provided by Tidbits Hub.
Day 3 (Step 3): Feedback Collection
On the final day, we collected feedback through a detailed form to gauge participants’ experiences and preferences. This feedback provided insights into how Tidbits Hub compared to external resources in areas such as clarity, engagement, and effectiveness in simplifying multi-step processes.
Feedback Table
The legend represents a scale from 1 to 5, with colors transitioning from red to green.
Below is a list of resources that the participants discovered and referred to during the activity. No predefined list of resources was provided to them, as we intentionally left the participants free to explore and identify relevant material independently.
Note: We noticed that despite the participants’ thorough research, the Safe Global Help Site (help.safe.global)—which is a great resource, much like our Tidbits Hub (tidbits hub)—was not commonly referred to. For some reason, the participants did not find this official help site during their exploration.
