I can understand the frustration and I hope to share some constructive feedback.
From my PoV a lot of this stems from the community not being heard.
As an OBRA recipient we were paid and implemented one of the only mobile signing flows out there in the ecosystem. (Write up here)
Following that work we had a few learnings that we shared based on going deep on the internal signing flows and what is actually required to develop a good native mobile signing experience.
At the time OBRA was then paused but we still contributed our thoughts and learnings notably:
- (Feb 24) Safe Infra, Handling service unavailability: A DX Perspective
- (March 24) Call for Community Input: Strategic Direction and OBRA Funding Strategies - #4 by 1a35e1
- (Jun 24) [Discussion] Decentralizing Safe’s Transaction Service & Creating a Sustainable Revenue Model for the SAFE Token
What is clear that even now, not one of these discussions has had any meaningful engagement from the Governance or Labs team to either acknowledge their importance or align with the issues presented with broader Labs strategies.
Which brings me to my main point.
As vendors if we have no clarity/responses with regard to issues we have identified it makes it really challenging to plan for deeper work.
Appreciate that at the time the ByBit saga would have deeply taken attention away from the DAO, so it would be nice to get some clarity on the points above moving froward.
