This is an interesting proposal, the yield you’re citing is certainly very attractive, so could definitely be worth considering as part of SafeDAO’s treasury management strategy. However, I don’t think the timing of this proposal is ideal given that the DAO is currently working on transitioning towards a committee and council structure, as outlined in [SEP 45] Implementation of Transition Period for Committees and Councils Structure.
Providing recommendations for a holistic treasury management strategy will be part of the Treasury Management Steering Committee’s mandate, so for me it makes sense to wait for those structures to be in place and allow the Committee to formulate a coherent strategy before the DAO starts allocating its treasury strategically.
